Time for National Awakening

Most of the cops, misuse their position to generate wealth illegally by means of corrupt practices such as taking money from street vendors and businessmen to let them run their business illegally, taking money from convicts to let them off, taking money 2 note FIR's and running investigations, to do duties as verification etc. The same goes for most other government employees and representatives. Talk about prevention of corruption act 1988, you can make any number of laws but without right implementation it’s all for nothing. It’s better to be prepared rather than be sorry after an attack. Learn self defense keep your weapon with you and use it when needed.
revolution march

These government-men declare their loyalty to party and government all the time. What about their loyalty to their nation. What about their loyalty to citizens of this nation whom they are sworn to protect and serve. How longer are we going to put up with such people? ask yourselves. Citizens- "This is our nation. It belongs to us. We are the real owners of this nation. It’s time to recognize this fact. I argue zero tolerance for violence against kids, women & men whether at home or outside. I ask for #righttorecall, I ask for #janlokpal, I ask for online public voting on bills, I ask for #righttoservice, I ask to #stoprape." There should be secure public online voting on each bill presented. That will be another step towards bringing true democracy in India. There won’t be any protest if govt. & cops don't fail in their job, there won’t be a call for change if there is no need for change. We need to claim our nation back. You see the treachery of these government men (G-men) clearly; can u allow it any longer? That’s the only question.

scamThese elected representatives walk around under the security of 10’s of guns, so does their relatives. It’s their job to ensure the safety, security of the citizens of the nation. Why have we forgotten that? It’s their obligation to put citizens before themselves, the pride, dignity and honor of the citizens before themselves. These are the responsibilities that come along with the powers and perks we provide them by electing them. Why have we forgotten that? These are among the things that were promised to our ancestors in order to make them adopt and give themselves and the future generations this constitution and democratic system. But today, take a look around and tell me what you see. If you can’t see oppression, miserable lives and victimized masses then you need a brain checkup. If you can’t see the loot of people by corrupt public officials and corrupt elected representatives and political class then you need to go consult a Neurologist. If you can’t see people getting brutalized by criminals, terrorists and cops alike then you need a brain checkup. Isn’t it clear already that we are getting cheated? What was promised and what are we receiving in the name of democracy. This is the biggest scam of it all. It’s time to recognize it and make the system give us what it promised in return of all that we are giving it in the wake of what was promised by our ancestors. You gotta make your representatives understand that if they don’t come good on your expectations, they won’t be around for long. Make them understand that misuse of public money and irresponsibility will not be allowed to continue. Only thing that can perpetuate is honor, dignity and honesty.

expose-corruption
#world is a dangerous place not because of the evil that lives in it, but because good people doing nothing about it. People expect a lot from presidents, PM's, and legislators they elect. But their expectations are continuing to get brutalized, because of inability, ineptness, apathy and corruption of the ones they elect for the job. As people continue to suffer and live miserable lives, continue to go through ordeals that rip hearts apart and the way things are going, there seems no complete stopping to it. With great powers come great responsibilities, but most of the representatives are enjoying their powers and misusing it against the people without taking care of responsibilities that come with it. Most of us who rise against all this #corruption, #tyranny and #evil, face persecution or meet an untimely unnatural death. Why is that?

Getting Organized Against Corruption: A Good Start

corruption perception index 2012
None of the MPs and the govt. would've bothered If Anna was fasting alone at Ramlila maidan. Nobody would've given a shit if all us people hadn't come together against this social peril-corruption. It never has been because of one person. Change in a nation comes when people of that nation come together against a common enemy/problem. Change in world comes when people of world come together against a common problem. It's people who are responsible for an economic, social and political reform, never one person alone, and this has been invariably true, right from the days of the French revolution up till today. Anna has become a medium of the people in this fight against corruption and a fellow fighter too. Corruption is amoral and evil. Because of corruption, there is so much misery and grievance in the lives of so many. It’s in the nature of the corrupt to be corrupt, also, it’s in the nature of the righteous to be righteous. There is a war going on between the two from a very long time. I am asking you to become a warrior of the good side, put up your best fight and help us win this war. Win essentially, if you are fighting against wrong. Corruption is wrong. Needless to say that, without corruption life will be fair and just.

poor-indianLife is meant to be good happy and safe for all. To ensure this we gave ourselves a system and for its functioning we pay annual taxes. But, this system is repetitively failing at obtaining its objective. The system was supposed to sustain a state of good happy and safe life for all, but it hasn't even achieved that goal, and by looking at the direction it’s running towards, anyone with half a brain can say, it never will. The democratic system we gave ourselves in 1949 needs a lot of improvement to address the issues of current times. Issues of corruption, crime and terrorism are threatening the nation today more than ever.

corruptionCorruption is like an infectious disease and it has spread to every arm of today’s democratic system. There is rampant corruption in law making body of states and center, in judiciary, in bureaucracy, in police, in media and where not. The Vohra committee report says it all. Corruption hits middle classes and poor in the worst way and since together they form the majority of Indian population, growth of the nation hampers. Real problem is that some legislators, bureaucrats, police people, justices and media people are forming teams together to rob public money. This is why it’s difficult to bring those corrupt people down. How is this becoming possible? Because of currently present loopholes in the constitution.

think smarterIf we are to get rid of corruption, crime and terrorism, we need to make sure that honest and able people are appointed to every constitutional post, and to do this we need to improve our selection criteria. To identify honest, able, good people, we need to be smart. Don’t vote for the wrong candidate and don’t buy products of unethical business man. We must become smarter to know who’s right and who’s wrong and to know which one is in our best interest. We must come out in full support of good people doing good work, because that’s in everybody’s interest. It makes me hit my head with stone when I see people voting for the same guy who has been robbing them for decades and because of whom their miseries never saw an end. To become smarter we should learn, compare our standard of living with that of other nations. If you lack in sense you must learn from the sense of others. We must not let anyone fool us, rob us or grind us down.

mumbai terror attackWhy do we have law making and law enforcing bodies? Why we have bureaucracy and judiciary and why do we pay taxes? All so, we can live a safe, good and happy, fair and just life. Now let’s give it a reality check. Because of corruption, so many of us are getting denied of services, jobs, equal opportunity, justice and fair treatment. Where crime should have been vanquished a long time ago, it’s still increasing steadily. People are getting robbed, murdered, harassed, stalked and so many of us are living in a constant state of fearTerrorists today are able to kill us at will. If I go out in a city like Delhi, Mumbai or any other major city in world, there is no guarantee, I will return home alive or at least in one piece

crime scene do not crossNow whose job it is to get us rid of such problems? It’s the job of our elected representatives along with the bureaucracy, police, security agencies and the judiciary. They offer to take the job. They promise to solve all problems & ensure a sweet happy life for all. They fight for their candidature with such vigor. But once we give them our mandate for the job what do we receive? We receive inaction, apathy, declarations like it is so difficult, incapability, corruption, continuing crime and terrorism etcetera. The MPs and MLAs claim to represent their constituencies but, how many of them have bought and muscled their way to a win in the elections? My guess is a big number of them. There should be a way to stop this trend & make the system work. It’s hidden from nobody that so many of our current politicians including the elected ones are hand in glove with the corrupt. Some of them are amoral criminals too, while most of them are robbing public money from behind the scene and are involved in abuse of tools given to them by constitution to carry out their duties efficiently. Nothing says the story of political corruption in India better than a chronology of scams, one overshadowing the other. Apparently the current provisions in constitution have proven inadequate in preventing political corruption and criminalization of politics.

The police, security agents and the people in judiciary, unjustifiably give favors to particular people over others at the behest of their superiors, or for the sake of their personal interests or that of their near and dear ones. They use their position to generate wealth illegally, muscle their way around and harass the general public. This is nothing but serious abuse of constitutionally allotted power termed as corruption. The law enforcement agencies and intelligence units are also used by the corrupt with power and money to harass good citizens who dare cross them and these agencies do it even after having taken an oath to protect the very same citizen. They all take an oath to serve and protect the citizens. Some honor and enact it but most dishonor that oath by their amoral behavior in and outside the office. It has occurred to me that our law enforcement agencies consider crime a more profitable business than crime fighting. But, they are forgetting one thing that for a human, morals value more than any amount of money at any given time.

media corruptionToday corruption has crept into media as well. Media people too are seen working in tandem with the corrupt for petty gains. The government is talking the good talk, like always. I really like some of what the law minister is talking about like - Judicial standards and accountability bill, public procurement bill, amendments to the money laundering act, whistleblower protection bill, public services delivery and public grievances redressal bill, UID authority bill, electronic services delivery bill, Foreign companies prevention of bribery bill, electoral reforms amendment bill to decriminalize politics, , and some points the home minister is talking about like electronic equipments for intelligence gathering, central body for information sharing, regional offices of NIA, more recruitments in security force and the police force etcetera. But, alas! Real life problems do not get solved by just talking and so we continue to lose lives to corruption, crime and terrorism, continue to live in misery.

money head politicianMost of the problems of general public are there because of dishonest and incapable representatives who abuse their constitutional tools for their personal interests. This abuse of power and money directly or indirectly feeds corruption, crime and terrorism in the country, thus starting a vicious cycle and at the end of day what we have is filthy rich politicians and their happy near and dear ones and the miserable robbed public dying at the hands of criminals, terrorists, disasters and the police. But this trend will die out because of availability of better and better technologies which will help spread awareness and educate people about their rights and what’s in their best interest and will also help in keeping a watch over people at positions of influencing matters of public interest. The work done by CAG in exposing scams and judicial activism of Supreme Court are finally starting to do some good to this country. They need to continue like this forever. After all this is what they are for. The process has already begun and it will be not long before we finally get the lives we deserve.

In order to ensure that only right people get elected to the assemblies and parliament we need to define an eligibility criterion for filing nomination papers. We need to make sure that only well learned, good, honest, smart and able people are allowed to file nomination for assembly seats and other constitutional posts that concerns matters of public interest. We must see to it that the Janlokpal bill gets passed in its original form. Lokpal will be helpful in curbing corruption. Right to recall will be a step further towards bringing true democracy. We must get the right to recall our representatives if we don’t like their work. We must also get the right to service from people appointed to public posts. These along with right to information will help bring true democracy which means the rule of people. We must also push for a working anti terror law and anti stalking law which we are lacking today. Our forefathers found out, arguably the single best course humanity should take. They took that course and passed their legacy to us. All we have to do is to continue building the road ahead on the same line. Now, how difficult is that?

To Live in Time of Corruption, Crime and Terrorism

rich poor divide
How the hell is all this happening to us like harassment, humiliation, crime, corruption, terrorism etcetera, even when we have so many laws and such a huge law enforcement body to prevent it all? I will tell you how? Because our constitution in current form is unable to prevent dishonest, amoral and inept persons from coming into public offices. It is also proving unable to spot and remove such people from system. Corrupt have robbed and destroyed nations in past and they are continuing. They have their own network and manpower of cronies and goons. Together as a team of few they are robbing and destroying a nation of billions, because of the presence of a gaping educational, social and economic divide in society, which the corrupt are doing everything in their power to maintain.

women educationA vast majority of people are not in a position to know what’s right for them and what’s wrong. They don't have a say in their own matters. They don't have an opinion of their own and even if they do, it doesn't counts. Many of them are unaware of, even their own constitutional rights, because of lack of education. Many of those who can differentiate right from wrong choose not to act in the best interest of nation. For example if some person is suffering at the hands of wrong people with power and money, many of us who are enlightened and educated will choose not to come for his/her aid, because of sheer insensitivity or fear. The present system has brought us to an age where many of us are living in a state of fear, fear for our lives, fear for our money, fear for our honor.

against stalkingMake no mistakes when I say there's a war going on between the righteous and the evil corrupt people. The righteous side must win this war. The evil corrupt side is using many tools against us including loopholes present in constitution, to their advantage. If you rise against them, they will use- character assassination, disinformation, gang stalking, and organized stalking, against you. They will try everything in their power to make you commit a mistake. If they don't succeed in stopping you with these tools, then they will try to disfigure, dismember or kill you in order to get you out of their way. How do they accomplish these tasks? That is through a network of flunkies, henchmen, cronies and goons who live among us either in open or disguised. They use character assassination, disinformation and stalking as means of breaking you down so that you give up against their unlawful and unjust ways will & want. You should also know that such corrupt and evil stalkers are invariably more miserable than you are. We must identify and expose such cronies and goons in order to get rid of them.

Over a period of time the corrupt evil side has claimed many lives of brave warriors of the righteous side. Like the life of Satyendra dubey who tried to do the right thing in NHAI. Like the life of Shanmughan Manjunath who went against the oil mafia. Like the lives of many RTI activists including that of Shehla Masood. Recently a family set itself ablaze because of rampant corruption in Indira Awas Yojana. Many more such cases are scattered all through the nation. It’s about time that we respond in kind to these corrupt scumbags. Doing bad things to those who are bad beyond recovery isn't wrong. The world wars were a huge setback to humanity. We defeated the Nazis back then, now it’s time for the evil and corrupt.

felony stalkingYou should live in a state of relaxed awareness and continue your righteous fight. You should also know that there's no one more foolish than a person who chooses to do the wrong thing. We must not give in to their psychiatric reprisal or use of physical violence. We must keep fighting them with the naturally awesome power of truth and righteousness until the final victory. The best weapon against the evil and corrupt and their cronies, goons etcetera is undeniable evidence of their black deeds. We must identify the bad guys, gather these evidences and use it against them in order to get rid of them. We must see to it that acts such as- witness protection program, whistleblower protection, Janlokpal, right to recall etc. are brought into effect. Such acts will help our constitution in curbing the perils which are ailing our society today.

Varanasi Kashi Vishwanath Darshan in Shravan

One fine July morning woke up by noise the heavily pouring rain was making. As usual cleaned my eyes and face with water and turned on the computer. While browsing the web found that my admit card has been released and I have to go to Lucknow for the exam. This was how I got the opportunity to visit this very fine city for first time. I also planned to visit Varanasi on the way back as it's the month of lord Shiva, booked my to and fro journey ticket and got set for travel.
kashi vishwanath
Train was at 5:45 in the morning and station is a good 5 km away from farm.  Though I decided to leave early, woke up late that day, and had to hurry my way through mud and water in the dawn hour. Sun was about to rise when I started and a very light rain was drizzling. Had my bag on shoulders, Slippers in one hand and my torch in another. Somehow I was thrilled about my journey.

charbagh
Luckily found a jeep and reached station well in time. Journey to Lucknow was smooth. Me and my fellow passengers talked about corruption, the Anna Hazare movement, black money, and such other problems in the country, throughout the way. On arriving to Lucknow's Charbag station we said goodbye to each other and took to our separate ways. I walked out of the station and made my way to the nearest restaurant. As I walked got my first glimpse of the so called city of Adab and Tehzeeb. Charbag station is beautifully built and the market there is a very crowded place. You can find almost everything you need for your stay in that market. There were many stalls selling sweet traditional snacks, a number of hotels selling delicious Lucknavi khana, tea stalls and whatnot. After finishing my Thali, checked into a guest house and rested for a while. Then I located my exam center and with that ended my day.

Next morning after writing the test took a better look of the city. City airport is as good as any other in the country. The roads are wide but due to careless driving of most people, never less dangerous. City is situated on either side of river Gomti. Bridge at the Gomti barrage is pleasing, so are the two malls nearby, Fun cinema and the West end mall. Roads leading to these malls are wonderful with lots of plantation on either side. All through my stay it rained frequently, bringing pleasant coolness to the environment.

varanasi1I arrived in Varanasi at 3 AM, came out of the station, had myself two cups of fine tea. Then boarded an auto rickshaw taking me to Godollia, the electrical and electronics district of Varanasi. From their I walked my way through numerous devotees, to the Dashaswamedh ghat. As it was Monday, the favorite day of lord Shiva, the place was more crowded than usual even in that hour of morning. I reached the ghat and to my surprise found the steps submerged in overflowing Ganga. Boats were arranged in a way to create a safe box for those coming to take a dip in the holy waters, but it was dangerous nonetheless. Light rain started to precipitate and the way back became muddy. Rain was lashing down by the time I reached Godollia square. I ran for cover under the roof of a closed shop. It was 4 in the morning so I just went through the news and updates of my friends. As I scrolled down the news list, discovered that America's AAA rating has been downgraded to AA+ by S and P, went through the furor it was causing.

varanasi2At the break of dawn started reading the magazine I had bought, sitting on the porch of a shop. By 6AM the shops and hotels started to open up. Checked into a hotel close by,  had my breakfast, kachorie-sabji and jalebi and sweets. I was tired as hell and my eyelids were closing down so didn't do much for the rest of the day and slept after eating the fine lunch from the hotel's kitchen. Woke up to heavy rains in the evening. It looked and felt beautiful. People were still forming endless lines for entry into the Vishwanath temple. Next day I too offered my worship to lord Shiva, ate the fine lunch. In the evening, treated myself to samosa chaat and traditional sweets, all so very delicious.

People may ask, what's so great about Varanasi? Well, i can give you two things to start with- first the food and second is the ghats of Varanasi with their old world charm.
